“Is the following McAfee Antivirus product going to force auto renewal in order to install and use it or will it be as simple as just buying this as a one-time purchase and using for 1 year and then manually having to purchase another license afterwards?”

• It does NOT force auto-renewal. You are asked to enroll during installation, but this step is optional. You can skip it by clicking on the X in the upper right corner and installation will proceed. Then as you say, you will need to buy a new license next year, but you can find it on promotion at Best Buy cheaper than the auto-renew price. You can also turn auto-renew on and off at any time by going into Settings, Auto-Renewal Settings and set it to the setting you wish. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
