• No - the codes do not expire. Yes, you can purchase now and not use until next year. The subscription doesn't begin until you redeem the code so you will have your full subscription once you decide you are ready. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

• I believe it would, but not if you activate the license. Regardless of whether you download the software or not and have it running, the subscription date starts when you activate it. At least, that's the way it looks to me.

• I believe this question is answered on the bestbuy product description page; if I remember correctly it does not expire.
