No, that is a feature you would want to turn on in your browser.

A lot of pop-up ads come from legitimate companies trying to market their products and so this isn't considered malware. Most browsers have pop-up blockers as a standard feature, though, so you should be able to take advantage of those. We do go preview any site before taking you to it and will warn you if we find malware or any suspect issues on the site. If the pop-up points to a malicious site, we won't take you to it, but we don't stop the pop-up in the first place. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
