“Will this also take care of the "current" bugs my PC has that are slowing down it's performance? I was thinking of getting a fix it stick also, but if this will cover existing issues as well as preventative issues than all the better. Thank you”

Yes! Our software will handle viruses that already exist, as well as protect you from new ones. However, it is easier block than to clean and no software can stop 100% of viruses. What you can do if you are willing is to sign up for auto-renew (this does require giving us a credit card). By signing up for auto-renew, you are automatically enrolled in our Virus Protection Pledge, which says we can remove any virus or your money back. So sign up for auto-renew and if the software doesn't remove the virus on its own, you can contact our support team at service.mcafee.com or 866-622-3911. They will also try and remove the virus. If they cannot, you get your money back. If they can, then you are good to go. Also, you can cancel auto-renew at any time, even after we have cleaned your system, so you won't be automatically charged if you aren't comfortable with that.
