Yes, this device will pair with a Bluetooth-compatible soundbar such as the Sony HT-A3000. However, what the Bluetooth function on soundbars is designed to do is allow you to stream audio from your TV to your soundbar wirelessly over Bluetooth, which is the function that this device will enable. The Bluetooth on soundbars is not designed for a wireless subwoofer function - that function is locked to the branded wireless subwoofer that is recommended for this soundbar (in this case the Sony SW3, SW5, or any other Sony wireless subwoofer(s) that are designed for the A3000 soundbar).
