This product allows you to connect two Bluetooth audio devices to one wired audio output. For example, you can plug this device into the headphone jack on your laptop with a wire, then pair two Bluetooth speakers to this device and stream the audio from your laptop to both of those speakers. You cannot connect this device to an iPhone (or laptop or any other device) via Bluetooth and then also use Bluetooth speakers - it would need to be plugged into your iPod using a wire and the appropriate iPhone adapter.
