• If you are using a set of Bluetooth headphones or speakers, then the input has to be from a wired audio source. This is Transmitter Mode (TX). You can also use this device in Receiver Mode (RX) - then the input is from a wireless source such as a phone or tablet, but the output will be sent via wire. So, either wireless audio in (from BT transmitter such as a phone/tablet) -> wired audio out OR wired audio in -> wireless audio out (to a Bluetooth receiver such as headphones).
