• Since the Quest 2 is a standalone VR unit, it has it's own OS and app store. However, if you have a gaming PC you can still play PCVR games as well via Airlink, Virtual Desktop, or a link cable. Thus allowing you to purchase your games on Steam. You can also sideload apps via SideQuest.

• Yes. You can buy games via your smartphone on the oculus app or directly on quest itself.
