It comes with the rubber covers that all new ones come with. It still has the foam it just has a rubber cover that goes over it. Although, if you contact Meta directly and tell them you need the rubber cover they should be able to provide you one as the recall of the original ones included the rubber covers. My brother had this problem and they gave him a cover for free when he brought it in.

They are made of the same material as the original foam piece. They do come with a silicone cover so that the foam is not in contact with your skin. Oculus provides the same cover for the original foam at no cost if you don't need a different size. Check their website. So the bottom line is that these foam replacements won't help you with your sweat problem. You'll need to look for a 3rd party solution.

One is for wide faces (me!), and one is for narrow faces If your quest 2 already fits comfortably, do not buy this. It is also the same material as the standard facial interface You should Google "VR Cover" and browse their products if you just want something to cover your facial interface. I bought a product from them that is two cloth covers that are machine washable so I can keep my Quest clean after doing workouts
