A:Answer Hey there knighrhawk1986, thank you for your inquiry.
While built on the same software and technical specs, there are some key differences between the Quest 3 and Quest 3s.
The resolution of the Quest 3S comes in at 1832 x 1920 pixels per eye, whereas the Quest 3 comes in at 2064 x 2208 pixels per eye.
As well as this, the Quest 3s uses Fresnel lenses with 3 position IAD (The space between your eyes) adjustment options. The Quest 3 uses Pancake lenses with a continuous IAD adjustment wheel.
Next, there is the Field of view, in other words the space that you can see in front of you. The Quest 3s will offer a 96° Field of view, compared to the 110° Field of view offered by the Quest 3.
The battery life/battery itself also differs slightly. The Quest 3s offers a 2.5 average battery life (based on general usage), with a 4324 mAh battery, compared to the 2.2 hour average battery life (again based on general usage), with a 5060 mAh battery.
Finally, there Quest 3s is slightly bulkier than the Quest 3, as well as this the Quest 3s comes with a glasses spacer, and the standard Quest 3 does not.
We hope that this helps, and hope to hear from you soon!
