A:Answer The screws didn't come with the box so you would have to pick some of your own, the box is 3/4" mdf, you don't want to go through the box for lack of seal, so you could get 1/2" screws and it would be just fine. If the pre existing screws from your friends were longer than the thickness off your box you should seal the screw holes tight with some sort of caulking or RV sealant.
