Q: QuestionThis does not match the climate control knobs on a 2004 Galant ES model as it says "2004" compatiable.Why is it that the climate control openings are not aligned for 2004 galant es model?

• A:Answer The climate control features of the ES are different, which have a different button/knobs layout. This doesn’t mean it wouldn’t work for a 2004, cause it will, just not that specific model and technically it’s a small, but widely overlooked factor regarding Mitsubishi Galants. To the best of my knowledge there’s less of the ES than the other models, so when installing an aftermarket radio in the other models you’d need this bezel package; but it just so happens that the ES is the only model that you don’t.
