Your Best Buy salesman will let you know, I bought one, And only the tech’s know if they used it. During parts install, they won’t let customers watch the install. So I haven’t a clue if I really needed it or not??? They’ll sell you a antenna adapter also, suspected I didn’t need it either, since I had a aftermarket radio already in the vehicle. The radio I bought had free geek squad installation, but after you buy all the accessories and install parts they suggest, you’ll pay nearly double the radio price. Good Luck!
