• Sure, but you would have to make the adjustments while driving and not being centered is not ideal.

• I think your going to lose part of the 'picture' you want to be able to see. The camera can be manipulated a little bit to adjust what your wanting to be able to see. Might be best to talk to a stereo installer at BestBuy and see if they've dealt with a license plate that's mounted to the side and not center of the car.
