Unfortunately i bought but havent had installed yet its still in package...due to covid im unable to get it istalled..i have had one before and i can guarantee it works and or souds better than without one! Keep amplifier juiced up n keeps lights from dimming too!

A 1 Farad capacitor will support up to 1.000 watts rms. I wouldn't push the envelope too hard but if you're under that you're going to be fine. If it's higher I would go with a 2.5
