Apparently everyone who answers questions here is missing a few brain cells. I know exactly what you're asking and am trying to find the answer to that myself. I'm looking for a bracket just spacers for a 6x9 but it cannot be over 1/2" otherwise I'll have clearance issues with the door panel. It'd be nice if they put the depth of the bracket in the specs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you have roughly a little over 2 inches of actual depth for this particular adapter from the actual window in the door panel. you'll need to either remove the OEM speaker spacer if it has one or you'll have to use one like found on JBL speakers.
