• I have the same issue... I cannot set more then 1920x1080 on a wide 34" Samsung

• The adaptor does NOT work on wide-screen monitor as Microsoft claimed. On my 34 inch Dell curved monitor, the adaptor outputs 1920 * 1080 resolution, which is far lower than the native resolution and of incorrect aspect ratio.
