No. The keyboard isn’t mechanical, despite the listing saying it is. The keyboard is membrane rubber

Everyone seems to have varying definition of 'mechanical keyboar. It does connect to your device via a Bluetooth connection, not with a USB dongle. This does have keys you depress for typing. I have not tried to lift any button up/off to see if there is a switch underneath. The keyboardbis made of a softer rubber / plastic, not hard plastic. Hope that helps
