Thanks for your help. Unfortunately the only available system restore point was today at 5pm--and the hours long "critical update" that disabled Outlook took place yesterday morning. Moreover, even if I could get it back, the way things are going their new updates would repeatedly disable Outlook 2002. I will give them a call however. Thanks for that number.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As a very long term Outlook user, I feel your pain and there is hope. First, go to control panel Type in search box: create restore The select system restore If you are lucky, you will find a restore point that will let you back off the most recent Microsoft update. Cross your fingers as this is easy. If you do not find such a restore point, then - You must call Microsoft for help. Their dedicated Outlook support team is very excellent. To get the phone, I just typed into Google: How to call Microsoft. Do not call anybody but Microsoft!!!! I see just now MICROSOFT CORP CUST SERVICE 800-642-7676. Good luck. Post your outcome here.
