• You own MS Office and no further fees. You subscribe to MS 365 and pay every so often to keep it. If you are a student in college, you can sometimes get 365 free as long as you are enrolled.

• I think Microsoft office 365 has to be renewed every year for each computer it is installed on. Microsoft student is a one time purchase but can only be used on one computer.
