“My son has had 2 laptops quit on him in the past 18 months, and I have purchased office for each. Can this be transferred to a new computer if there is an issue with a computer and it has to be replaced? I hate buying new programs again and again.”

• The Best Buy tech helped me install my 2013 on a new desktop that I had used on my previous desktop that crashed. Just be sure you have Microsoft sign in name and password. We weren’t sure but tried it and it did work.

• Look at the program and see what the system requirements are as some programs will not work on newer computers. Also, see if there is a limit on how many copies can be used with your program.
