Do Microsoft office comes without a subscription? null

I bought the life time subscription and not the yearly, which comes with updates. So mine doesn't update, but I'm still running Word 2013 on another desktop and I don't miss any updates. I don't even know what they are to even compare.

Office Home & Student, Office Home & Business, and Office Professional are perpetual licenses. Meaning, you'll only have to pay once for the software.
