A:AnswerI was skeptical it would due to the higher wattage / charge rate but the description says it is so I bought one. My verdict is I would advise against it as it did not work with my Surface Pro 4. It either did not charge it at all or when it did recognize the charge it caused the tablet to hard power down (did this 3 times so not a one off). I tried a different power supply to make sure it wasn't my tablet at fault and that worked fine.
So either the power supply I bought was faulty or it is not actually compatible with a surface pro 4 like the description states. I opted against trying the same power supply again and just went for the one that is actually designed for the surface pro 4 instead as I didn't want to risk damaging my tablet if it kept causing it to hard power down.
