Will this work with the older Surface RT? null

From what I can see, the answer is to check the tip style for your RT. This particular charger has a flat male wedge type tip (the middle pic) that magnetically attaches to a Surface Go body. If your RT uses the 5-pin flat bar type (see below left), this won't work. If you do a search, which is where I found these images, you should be able find a charger for your needs.
