Tegra 1.3 ghz quad core processor. Since you have Microsoft hardware and software, they've tuned everything so that this thing just flies!! It's lightning fast and fluid.

I have the exact same CPU/GPU in a Nexus 7 and it's slooooooooooooooooooooooow, so I was surprised that the much more full featured Windows RT actually runs quite well on Tegra 3. Surface 2 uses a Tegra 4, with a considerably bigger CPU and GPU, and Surface Pro runs real Intel chips so is vastly more powerful.
