Yes, you absolutely can. You can purchase a VGA adapter OR an HDMI adapter from Microsoft as well as other manufacturers like Belkin that will allow you to use your larger screen with the touch interface to annotate your slides as you go. As far as saving them as PDFs, you may want to find an app for that, but shouldn't be too hard. I would NOT recommend a Galaxy for classroom use, as your Microsoft Office experience won't be nearly as seamless as it will be with Surface. You can get all the fun capabilities of an Android tablet (YouTube, Netflix, Google Search, media library app, etc.) with the Surface, along with much more robust document creation capability. The Surface is IDEAL for a classroom.
