I asked about the warranty when I purchased the device. I wouldn't bother.Typically, the device will fail or perform well out of the box. Many warranties replace with a refurbished device, so I would not recommend the extra coverage. Best Buy has stood behind their products in my experience in the instances where the device didn't perform as expected.

It will depend upon the length of the Geek Squad protection plan purchased. A 1-year plan will bring the total to $419.98, a 2-year plan will be $474.98, and a 3-year plan will be $524.97. All of these prices will be before sales tax, of course.
