Hello there, Yes, you can download your pictures from your camera by plugging in a memory card reader into the Surface's USB port. When you insert the camera's card into the memory card reader, the Surface RT will be able to read it, and you can transfer your pictures. Please try again later.Basically, there are two ways to get those photos over to the device. you can hook a USB cable into your camera and then the unit will recognize your camera and then you will be able to explore from the desktop of your surface and choose the Explorer and find your pictures. Take the memory card out of the camera and move those pictures onto a micro USB card or use a USB card adapter.
