One comment was partially incorrect-Surface/Windows RT *DOES* Support Flash. It's the only tabletOS that supports flash aside from full Windows 8. But as others mentioned, Google would have to write a program to use their services. They don't support iOS very well either, I assume to try to force you to get Android, but I'm certainly not doing that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Google/Facebook would need to write these into an application. The RT at is core is a tablet not a PC so certain things won't function without a dedicated app being written. I'm not by my surface to test at the moment, but can you open a hangout while in the Desktop mode for IE and have them function? It has more features then the "Metro" version. You can access the Desktop version easily by going to the site that you want...swipe up....hit the circle with the three dots....then open in Desktop Mode (again this is from memory, but should be close).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the surface RT does not support java or flash. With that being said, you can not do things that require said programs. If you want to do those things on a surface, you need to get the surface pro
