Does the Surface Book 2 use the same charger as the Surface Pro 4? null

I had the surface pro 4 and had to buy a new charger for it and I loved how long the cord was (6ft). When I got the surface book 2, I was at school and forgot the charger it came with at home but had my old surface pro 4 cord and it worked perfectly for me.

Yes it can (but depends on the situation). I bought a sp4 one as it was the only one that would charge off of my battery pack. If my surface book starts working to hard it can't keep up with it though and discharges... though I still get an extended time out of the laptop in dire situations.

The Surface Book 2 uses up more power than the Surface Pro 4, so the charger is a higher wattage.
