Would this work for uploading and editing photos? null

It will work fine for some light to moderate photo editing and touch ups. But it isn't going to be your go to for something like 4k photoediting, and photoshop may be sluggish when squeezed in to the 4gb of ram. Though the 8gb model runs photoshop a fair bit better. Alternately you can use an older version of photoshop that can run in a lower amount of ram and it should work just fine. AS a nice bonus the device has surprisingly good cameras for it's price point.
