Upgraded how? Memory or storage? NO, those are imbedded (soldered) on the motherboard. Really there's no need to upgrade them; I use my Surface Go as my ONLY computer: I have a micro SD card in it that I save almost everything to and I have a portable DVD drive I use to watch movies on it. I do recommend buying the 64gb version as I bought; I learned from having purchased a cheaper Dell 32gb laptop in the past that Windows doesn't have enough room to update with only 32gb. Oh, I did switch my Surface Go from Windows S version to the full version and still have plenty of room for updates having purchased the 64gb version.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All Surface devices including the Surface Go are not meant to be tampered with. If for any reason you try to upgrade things like the RAM, storage, processor and more, your warranty will become invalid. However, we do have some tips for utilizing external storage on your Surface here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4075130/surface-windows-81-surface-storage-options. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on what you mean by "upgrade". If you mean the operating system then yes as I did, take the free upgrade to Windows 10 Home rather than stick with the awful limitations of Windows 10 S mode. Short of that no hardware upgrades are available other than keyboard, stylus and aftermarket USB port replicators to compensate for the units abysmal lack of USB connectivity options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Software yes, hardware not really. Even if you could it would be more cost effective to replace.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope what you buy is what you get. Only thing you can change is the micro sd card size.
