• Possibly. It requires a little setup in terms of passwords and such but otherwise is intuitive. If hand-eye coordination or arthritis are issues, invest in a Bluetooth mouse.

• Maybe if you set it up, and if they are already pretty tech savvy. It may be Overkill if they just want it for Facebook. A MacBook or iPad might be more appropriate.
