• A:Answer The new Surface Laptop 2 is the next generation of the most balanced device we’ve created. Surface Laptop 2 provides a classic form with a beautiful blend of fabric, function and sleek design. Under the hood, Surface Laptop 2 features an 8th Gen Intel® Core™ processor for 85% faster performance than Surface Laptop and all-day battery life of up to 14 hours of local video playback. Surface Laptop 2 now ships with Windows 10 Home, which delivers the features our customers use most at a more affordable starting price. In addition to Burgundy, Cobalt Blue, and Platinum, Surface Laptop 2 is now available in a sleek new matte Black. *Testing conducted by Microsoft in August 2018 using preproduction Intel Core i5, 256GB, 8 GB RAM device. Testing consisted of full battery discharge during video playback. All settings were default except: Wi-Fi was associated with a network and Auto-Brightness disabled. Battery life varies significantly with settings, usage, and other factors.
