• Yes it can. I use the surface dock, because it also charges/powers at the same time. There is a USB-C port which is the new standard for docking stations. I have used a few USB-C port replicators/docks that support dual and triple displays (I a not sure if this supports it, but my last USB-C dock also powered my laptop) Currently, I have 5 monitors connected to this laptop.
