- Answer Yes the older port works. I purchased the new one but when I got home and realized that the old one from my 2017 Surface still worked, I returned it.

- Answer I am not sure what the exact weight is but it actually pretty light for being the size it is. And it fits in my purse and doesn’t make it really heavy so that’s nice!
