• The SSD is 2230 and it is upgradable. All you need to do is remove the rubber feet on the bottom, take out the 4 screws, and you'll be able to remove the bottom cover to swap out the SSD.

• The SSD (and RAM) is soldered inside the Surface laptop, it is not upgradable.
