- Answer I wouldn't think so. The surface pen is designed to work specifically with the Surface Pro and Surface laptop via a bluetooth connection. I doubt you would good results using it with the galaxy notebook.

- Answer You have to use. AAA battery, but I use mine almost everyday and I haven't had to replace the battery once. My old pen was the same and I had that one for over a year.
