A:AnswerIn order to install Office 2007 you need an external DVD drive. They are around $30. As to if it will run on Windows 8.1 I don't know if it will. I do know that Office 2010 does run though so it may be worth a shot.
All USB devices that are Windows compatible will run on the Surface Pro 2.
A:AnswerYes, I have CS6 on this laplet and it runs perfectly fine, you'll want to install the Wacom Wintab drivers on there so you can enable the pen's 1024(?) pressure points.
A:AnswerWell the wireless adapter in the Surface Pro 2 is a Marvell AVASTAR 350N (802.11n, dual-band) that doesn’t support Intel Wireless Display (WiDi). It’s meant to support Miracast though.
A:AnswerI have no problems connecting to different WiFi outlets for example, work, home, Verizon mobile hotspot, Hampton Inn, and Airport. I think it really depends on the signal strength.
