• Can install iTunes. Any program will put a hit against performance and might be noticeable but not terrible. When you install it, it will ask you what types of files you want iTunes to open. Check the items off that you don't want iTunes to open.

• You could down load ITUNES...just remember the space issues you might run into. It is a PC so it won't adversely effect any operation.

• I haven't done this yet but I don't see there being any issue if you downloaded iTunes on the desktop. It should work perfectly fine.
