• Depends on where you purchase. All come with (i believe) 30day warranty and Best Buy (where I purchased) offers extended warranty (that I did not take).

• It is the same as Apple and any other product. The one year warranty covers manufacturers defects. If you want accident coverage you have to pay for it just like Apple.
