The surface pro 6 is great for Microsoft Office, even with the cheaper i5 model. For accounting, you may want to have an external keyboard with a number pad as the type cover does not have a side number pad. Microsoft office trials are included, but I believe you can buy bundles with 1 year of Office 365 or you can buy an Office desktop license separately.

Surface Pro 6 comes equipped with a free trial of Microsoft Office, however after this expires, you will need to purchase the version of Microsoft Office you prefer to continue use.
