The internal storage is expandable and easy access, so if you like you can actually just upgrade that.

The Surface Pro 8 no longer includes the SD card slot like the previous models included.

There is no Micro SDXC card reader on the Surface Pro 8.

You can swap the SSD that is on the back (under the kick stand) easily, just like you swap the SIM on a cell phone.
