• This Type Cover only fits Surface Pro models not the Surface Go, there is no such thing as a "surface pro go". I added the "Microsoft - Surface Go Signature Type Cover - Platinum" to my answer.

• It sounds like you may have purchased the wrong type cover for this device. The Surface Pro Signature Type cover is for the larger model of our Surface Pro. Surface Go is compatible with the Surface Go Type Cover, or Surface Go Signature Type Cover.
