It is my understanding that this typecover is compatible with the surface pro 3 thru surface pro 6

Please try again later.Yes that's what I bought one for and the Surface Pro 4 is what I use....works great....I think it's an even better keyboard than the one that came with the original. I like the touch of the keys pads better, it feels more responsive and more like a keyboard on this one, I feel it has a better felt covering and the touch pad is more responsive on this one.
