It only cover the screen I recomended to find a leather cover for the surface to protect it complete.

Yes but only the acreen. It doesn't cover both sides.

It protects the screen when it's in tight confines in a bag, but it doesn't click shut. (Sort of like a Kindle cover.) Depends on what you want your cover to do.
