“Fixing BSOD I want to know if installing a new operating system will fix my black screen of death. I had windows 7. Can I install windows 10 or do I have to stay with 7. Thanks for your help.”

You can install Windows 10, not sure if that will fix your black screen of death but you can go from Windows 7 to Windows 10

Please try again later.your bsod might not be software caused, there are logs on your system that might assist you in determining the root cause (do a search on crash dumps) and get a log analyzer (i use who crashed). you can put any os on your hardware that can support the "new" os. good luck
