• Yes, it will boot from usb device, make sure in boot option when computer start up to chose boot from usb.

• This is on a USB stick. Just plug it in and boot up your system. I suggest putting on a new hard drive/ssd for easier installation.

• Hello there, Windows 10 Home comes with an USB stick to install it. A CD is not included. We hope this was helpful to you.

• Make sure you save your pics & videos & music before you upgrade. I made the mistake & not save & ran into a few nightmares. I had to purchase an external hard drive to save everything before the upgrade began. My desktop is 5 years old
