• It comes with a trial of microsoft office. it does not come with a full version unless you bought a machine that had a promo with Office.

• Windows 10 is the operating system like Windows 7 or Windows XP. Word, Excel and Powerpoint is in the Microsoft Office software set up. They are offering new 2016 products but you have to really look for them. They (Microsoft) are promoting their Windows 365 which is a continuous pay subscription service but offers you more than the standard 3 (W E PP) and also web stuff and continuous up-to-date Word, Excel, etc. Make sure you upgrade to Windows 10 before June/July 2016 if you currently have Windows 7 or 8 because it's free until then.
