If you are having update problems, buy Win10 pro may not help that issue. Win10 Pro is a very good upgrade. If you reinstall Win 10 that may help the issue. If you dont have the disk or didn't make and image disk than the Win10 Pro would be a good option. It has a lot of nice features that the regular one doesn't. If you do have the ability to reinstall Win10 regular then try that first. Normally an update issue wont be solved by installing a new operating system. Hope this helps.
